Jive Talkin ‘The Bee Gees Story’ at the Gateway.
Jive Talkin' unites the UK's hottest talent for a truly inspiring evening of everything Bee Gees. This is the show that Bee Gees fans everywhere have been waiting for.
Featuring the stunningly convincing vocals of Brothers Darren and Gary Simmons as Barry and Robin Gibb, as well as Jarrod Loughlin as Maurice Gibb, these three leading men collectively have career highs including starring in London's West End, numerous world wide TV appearances and performing live with the Bee Gees themselves.
The Jive Talkin band features some of the greatest performers in the country today and recreates to perfection the extensive Gibb Brother's repetoire. Never before has there been a more complete Bee Gees experience, making audiences both young and old feel as if they are actually at a Bee Gees concert!
Accompanied by a live String Section to compliment both the heavily orchestrated 60's hits (such as Massachusetts & Words) and the many string heavy disco classics (such as Stayin Alive and Night Fever), the Bee Gees catalogue of hits is bought to life in its most pure form.
As the years roll on, the show introduces special guest performers, all carefully selected for their unique vocal abilities, to perform the many hits the Bee Gees wrote for other artistes such as Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion and Diana Ross to name a few.
The show also features a stunning acoustic medley of some of the Bee Gees earlier hits showcasing the uncanny voices of the three lead singers creating a truly emotional musical journey.
As the 2 hour show comes to a close, audiences leaving theatres will feel that they have witnessed a truly entertaining, well produced show that had them both reaching for their handkerchiefs and dancing in the aisles!

The Producers Blues Band at the Gateway.
One of the most exciting and stylish new wave bands on the circuit, Bournemouth based The Producers are among the leaders of the the current Blues phenomenon topped by Joe Bonamassa and John Mayer.
The Producers are something really something special, playing the freshest live blues in Britain today. Concerned with feel and attitude rather than slavishly copying 'hand me down' American music, The Producers move effortlessly between their own well crafted material and seriously reinvigorated classics stamped with their own characteristic identity.
By not treating the music as some kind of museum piece The Producers are likely to incur the displeasure of a section of the blues hierarchy, however, at the same time they are barnstorming across the country building a massive audience at sell-out club dates and developing an equally impressive reputation that no one can ignore.

What it's all about
Twentyish muddy, hilly, boggy, beachy miles of the multiest-terrain running experience you will find this side of the end of time. It's by no means the toughest race around (honestly!), has changed over the years and nearly died on a few occasions, but hundreds of you keep coming back for more so we must still be getting it right. Whatever it isn't, it is an experience.
“I have run in a few races but have never been in a race that manages to create physical challenge whilst taking a sideways glance at running, allowing all involved to emerge with a crooked grin on their face!” - A Grizzly runner

Rolling Stoned at the Gateway.
After their sell out gig at the Gateway in May 2011, the Rollin Stoned are back.
With a Rolling Stoned show, the costumes are shamelessly camp gaudy and fab, the instruments genuinely vintage and the wit irreverent. However while the tongue is never far from the cheek we make sure it is never to the detriment of the music. This band is not to be confused with the grotesque parody on parody ‘Stella Street’ Lite Stones bands that abound, nor a bunch of seasoned old pros, opportunistically hitched on to the “Tribute Bandwagon” for an easy ride. What clearly comes across to audiences seeing the band at work is the passion we all have for the music of what is, cliche or not, ”The Greatest Rock‘n’Roll Band„ the world has seen.
A typical two hour show includes not only all the classic crowd pleasing hits, but is spiced with enough eclectic selections from the deeper recesses of Stones Album archives to satisfy the most demanding of “Buffs”, all performed with the same vibrantly authentic attack and raw energy that characterised the original Stones shows in their prime.

Coldplace at the Gateway.
The World's Leading Tribute to Coldplay
Formed by Coldplay fans, for Coldplay fans, Coldplace are a tribute band whose quality and experience on the tribute scene are second to none.
Formed in 2003, right from the start Coldplace had an unnerving likeness to the real thing, especially in front man Shane Crofts who's look, sound and even on stage mannerisms and charisma bears an uncanny resemblance to the great Chris Martin himself. Thanks to this incredible accuracy, the musicianship, dedication and passion for Coldplay's music, the band were quickly on the tribute circuit in the UK and over the years have had some amazing experiences.
Their aim, as a tribute to one of the world's biggest bands, is to capture the feeling of a live Coldplay performance, the music, the visuals, the energy and the atmosphere. This had lead to some amazing comments from people who have seen our show such as “Close your eyes and you'll think it was Coldplay”, “Fix You brought a tear to my eye” and “Wow – they are brilliant. Absolutely faultless performance – really powerful.”
